The vessel, named the “Okura Cruise,” will feature Japanese fine dining, offering teppanyaki (food grilled on an iron plate) and kaiseki (traditional multi-course Japanese dinner) styles.
The cruise is scheduled to embark on its inaugural voyage along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River in December this year.
Originally known as JAL Hotels Company Ltd., this global hotel management firm is now under Japanese ownership and has been majority-owned by Hotel Okura Co., Ltd. since 2010. The properties managed by the hotel firm are promoted under the Okura Hotels & Resorts, Hotel JAL City, and Nikko Hotels International groups.
